Concerts

All credits on pinterest

I used to see a lot of concert pictures on tumblr with "pure bliss" as a caption.

I couldn't imagine how a crowded concert could create such a blissfull moment, but last night I finally understand.

It was a three-day festival at my hometown, a little city that has grown so much in the past few years. Local and national bands were invited to perform.

I went with my friends from senior year. The field are packed with people, the moon peeked between the clouds, and colorful lights from the stage illuminated on our faces.

The band performing at the stage is a famous indie band with a lot of fans. I don't know most of the song, but still enjoys the music and moved my body following the crowd, swaying back and forth, right to left, lifting my hands in the air and screamed along. The stranger in front of me tried to make a conversation, but I told him to wait and just enjoys the music. He laughed, then continue to dance and sing.

I look up to the moon and closed my eyes. With all the sounds, smells, lights, the hustle and bustles.... indeed, it was pure bliss.

The night air felt warm and cold at the same time. The music suddenly sounds heavenly on my ears.

I opened my eyes and Mr. Stranger looked back at me again. He handed his phone.
I refused and said, "Why can't you just enjoy the music!?"
He grinned, "No. I could never enjoy the music until I got your number."
I smirked, "You know my name already. Try find me again."

With that words, I turned around and left. The last glimpse I see of him is he grinning from ear to ear, thinking god-knows-what.

"You got some fans right there." My friend said to me.
"Huh, a fan." I thought, "Well, let's see if he can find me again."
